I don’t know about you, but I love getting a new car. There’s just something about the energy of driving something different every few years that I thoroughly enjoy. And that’s why I typically lease my vehicles.
This year, as my lease was coming to an end, I started car shopping again. I wanted to check out all my options and leave no stone unturned.
My first move was to bombard Brandon, my mechanic, with questions about all kinds of vehicles. I went to Vegas to drive a Range Rover and an Audi. Then, I headed to Northern Utah for Lexus and Porsche.
But as I got closer to the wire, I decided to head down to Mercedes-Benz of St. George — just to see what was available. I was growing increasingly concerned about buying a car that did not have a local dealership, as I believe in supporting our local businesses whenever possible. (I am a local realtor, after all.)
As soon as I stepped onto the lot, Drew walked up to me with a smile. I’m a very straightforward person and told him exactly what I wanted. I am rather particular; I know what’s important to me and where I have some flexibility.
Drew turned out to be both a good listener and a good problem solver. We explored a few options and took a few for a spin. As we began to make progress, I needed to leave to meet a client and said I would return on Saturday.
I really appreciated how respectful he was with my schedule. When I arrived that weekend, Drew had the vehicles that we had discussed pulled up, and I was able to quickly narrow down what worked best for me.
In fact, I was so happy with my choice that I ended up buying instead of leasing!
But the incredible customer service didn’t stop there. When I went back a few weeks later to pick up my license plate, Drew wasn’t at the dealership, so Avi volunteered to put my plate on my car and then demonstrated some of its fancy new features I had yet to discover. Our local Mercedes-Benz team is truly top-notch.
I love my new car so much, and I’m grateful that I was able to find exactly what I wanted here in St. George. If you’re shopping for a new car this year, you know where to look!
